It's on the more expensive side of all-terrain running strollers, similar to the BOBs. However, it does have many positive aspects. The single-action breaks produce a reassuring clicking sound and are simple to operate, even when holding your child. The deceleration brake operated by hand is also useful, particularly when you're running up a hill.

The BOB Gear Alterrain Pro is the top-rated jogging stroller and boasts superior suspension to ensure your child has an easy ride. The company's exclusive technology, dubbed SmoothShox is able to absorb bumps and jerks, reducing the impact to your child as well as your parent. The system is different from other brands, such as the Revolution Flex 3.0 which has a great adjustable suspension, but it lacks the technology found in the Alterrain Pro.
The huge rear wheel of 16 inches and the front wheel measuring 12 inches of this jogger are designed to smoothly roll over uneven terrain and offer great maneuverability. The wheels are air-filled to add a layer of comfort for your baby while ensuring maximum performance and durability.

The padded leg rest extends down to the plastic footrest to give you extra comfort. The Alterrain Pro is sleeker and more modern than other models of the brand. It also feels more finished. BOB Sport Utility
This stroller is available in either a single or duallie version for parents who are serious about their outdoor adventures. It has a handlebar that can be adjusted to fit parents of different heights, as well as a large storage basket for all of your equipment.
In our testing we found that the BOB Sport Utility was awarded a 6 out of 10 score for jogging and running usage, which was just behind our most rated model, the BOB Ironman. Its suspension, large wheels, and air-filled tires make it more comfortable to run on, and its suspension system and air-filled tires are better at absorbing the impact of rough surfaces than the smaller ones on other strollers (including our other BOB models including the Revolution Flex, and the Thule Urban Glide 2, which both scored 9).
When it comes to maneuverability, the Sport Utility does very well however it isn't as easy to turn as the other models in this review. It requires turning the handlebar backwards to turn which is fine on flat surfaces, but could make it more difficult to navigate tight spaces such as cafes or grocery stores.
The BOB Sport utility comes with the same safety features that most other joggers offer with 5-point belts as well as a foot brake and hand brake. The BOB Sport Utility can accommodate most infant car seat adapters, which are available separately. The brakes were nimble and easy to use, however we did not like the requirement to place an unlocked front seat when walking or running.
Baby Trend Expedition
This stroller is a great option for families on a budget. It comes with all the essential safety features, such as a 5-point harness and tether strap, to ensure your children's safety on excursions. The handlebar is extra-wide ergonomically shaped rubber grip that is cushioned with foam for comfort. This helps you traverse rough terrain and hills. It also features a lockable swivel wheel on the front that can be unlocked for jogging, or locked to allow easy strolling. It also comes with the multi-position reclining chair and a large storage basket and footrest reflectors for enhanced low-light visibility.
The Expedition isn't as great in some categories as our top-scoring models. It doesn't have a suspension system that helps to absorb the force of bumps and uneven surfaces which could be uncomfortable for infants and toddlers. Its metal wheels don't last as long as the ones with larger tires, so it isn't an ideal choice for rough surfaces.
The Expedition's canopy is small and, doesn't offer much protection or protection from the sun. Despite these flaws, the Baby Trend Expedition is an excellent choice for parents on a budget looking for an all-terrain stroller. It also comes with other useful features, like a parent tray with cup holders as well as a child's tray with two cup holders.
Out 'n' About Nipper Sport V4
UK brand Out 'n' About has won legions of fans for its collection of jogging buggies. this model is their most popular running buggy. It's light and easy steer, but it comes with big, robust 16-inch wheels that can withstand the toughest terrain. It features fixed wheels that are easy to lock straight when you're running. However, you can utilize the lever on the handlebar to let the front wheel swivel when you're walking around or attempting to climb hills.
The suspension is great, especially on rocky and bumpy bridleways in the Peak District where we tested it. The handlebar brake wasn't as responsive to us as we would like and the Nipper Sport V4 cannot be used with a car seat or baby carrier (although it can be used with an infant insert) and can only be used for occasional overnight sleep.
The instructions are easy to follow and we were in a position to put it together in less than 10 minutes. You do have to fit the seat liner and hood yourself however, we found it was not difficult. It simply requires some patience while feeding the harness straps into the slits in the padded seat liner. The back of the seat is a medium-sized storage pouch, but it's not big enough to hold a change bag.
The Out 'n' About Nipper Sport V4 can be used as early as the moment of birth, but it is advised to wait until your child is six months old before utilizing it for running. The harness isn't tight enough to allow a newborn to be held comfortably, so you will require a separate carrycot.
